How-Do partners with the Manchester Evening News to bring you a conference focused on helping businesses grow through developing digital strategies that turn their website into an effective business development tool. With keynote presentations from IBM, Microsoft and Google, and featuring interactive workshops looking at Online research, Search Engine Optimisation, Website Effectiveness and Social Media, this conference is a must-attend for any business wanting to harness the power of the internet.

In these challenging economic times, it is vital for businesses to be able to acquire new customers and grow whilst reducing costs. A company’s website is its shop window and whilst the digital revolution offers businesses unparalleled opportunities to identify, engage with and sell to new customers, many websites fail to do much more than act as a static online brochure. As a consequence, many businesses fail to take full advantage of the very real business development opportunities that their website can offer. Our one day FutureCommerce conference will show how all companies could, and should, benefit massively from having an effective and coherent digital strategy that places their website as the focal point of their commercial activity and ensures that it works for them as an ongoing business development tool.

The day will focus on using digital tools to identify, acquire, convert and retain customers using your website, incorporating the use of key channels including search engine optimisation, email marketing, social networking, web 2.0 and mobile. Keynote presentations from the likes of Google, IBM and Microsoft will be supplemented by targeted presentations from experienced consultants who have worked with a range of clients in these areas, all of which will provide cutting edge insight into how taking advantage of the wealth of opportunities can lead to real benefits and dramatically enhanced business performance. There will also be interactive workshops looking at research and customer identification, the acquisition of customers, the conversion of initial customer/client interest into action and the long-term retention of both new and existing customers.

Put simply, any marketer, business owner, sales manager or business director that wants to understand how his or her business can turn their website into a key business development tool must attend!
